Partner Director in Ecuador and Renewable Energy Specialist at Gas Energy Latin America. Has more than 12 years of professional experience on renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy policy and regulation. Moreno has experience in the private and public sector highlighting positions as Energy Efficiency Coordinator at Fundacion Bariloche (2019 – 2020) and Undersecretary for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (2015 – 2017) respectively.
During his professional career Moreno has been responsible on implementation of important projects about energy policy, energy efficiency and renewable energy highlighting: Ecuador´s Energy Efficiency National Plan (2016 – 2035), Ecuador´s Efficient Cooking Program, Securing Energy Efficiency in public and residential sector and San Cristobal Microgrid (1.0 MWp + 2.2 MWh ESS).
Adrian Moreno holds a degree in electrical engineering by Escuela Politecnica Nacional (Quito – Ecuador), and a Planning Energy Diploma by Calgary University and OLADE and earned a MSc. Energy and Policy by Ajou University (Suwon – South Korea).
